You start at the tip of the triangle and just continue adding rows until you have the desired size for your dog’s comfort.

To create this cute dog bandana, you only need worsted weight yarn and a 5.0mm hook. That is all! We love that this pattern is so beginner-friendly.

As long as you know how to do basic granny clusters, which is something most crocheters learn early on, you can do this pattern.

The designer has even provided an ad-free printable PDF link if you would prefer something printable. There is even a video tutorial.

Pattern #19: Repeat Crafter Me Moss Stitch Bandana

Pattern #22: Heart Hook Home Crochet Bandana

Made with fingering weight or sock weight cotton, this dog accessories DIY project is extra lightweight and won’t weigh your pup down.

We love this feature about this pattern, bulky yarns often leave us with stiff bandanas that are uncomfortable around the neck, especially at the ties.

Worked from the bottom point of the triangle, increasing on both sides, you can simply stop once you reach your desired length.

Making it totally dog customizable. Cute little chains create the bow ties without adding extra thickness.

This pattern is part of a full lineup of dog crochet patterns from Heart Hook Home. Ideal for the knitter looking for something insanely lightweight.

Measure your dog’s neck. Keep crocheting the triangle until it’s 1-2 inches less than your measurement.

The designer crocheted this for a dog with an 18-inch neck. She continued crocheting until the triangle was 17 inches across.

This used less than one skein of #4 worsted weight yarn. Hook size is H/5.0mm. Each tie is about 12 inches long.

The bandana is crocheted as a triangle from the center point out, then you make ties as you crochet the border.

It’s made with medium-weight cotton yarn and is labeled as advanced beginner. You should know how to chain, single crochet, double crochet, and work into chain spaces.

The cutest part? It uses the same pattern as the designer’s Lumina Shawl, so you can match your dog.
