Hello lovely people, we are seeking a pet sitter/dog walker to join FursnPaws. Applicants must hold a valid UAE resident visa. This position operates on a commission-based structure.
As a pet sitter/dog walker, your primary responsibility will be to care for pets while their owners are away due to long working hours or vacations. You will visit the pets at their owners’ homes for durations of 30 minutes, 1 hour, or longer, depending on the clients’ needs. For dog care, walking sessions will be required during the sitting sessions. Occasionally, overnight stays may be necessary, especially when clients are traveling for 2 or 3 nights and require someone to sleepover with their dog.
During pet sitting sessions, it is crucial to ensure the pet’s well-being by fulfilling their needs such as food and water, playtime, cleaning litter boxes for cats, walks, and promptly notifying the client of any health issues. A car is essential for this role since you will need to travel to various locations in Dubai. Additionally, you must be prepared to take the pet to the vet in case of emergencies.
Prior to commencing any job, we will arrange meetings between you, new clients, and their pets. During these meetings, you will gather all necessary information about the pets. Following the meetup, specific dates and times will be scheduled for pet visits. Punctuality, attention to detail, and establishing a strong bond with pets are essential qualities for this role.
Requirements:
* You need to have a car and a residency visa
* Drive to different locations around Dubai
* Punctual and trustworthy
* Experience with dogs and cats
* Presentable and proficient in English
* Capability to handle multiple jobs within a day
* Ability to accommodate last-minute changes and assignments
* Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
